U.S. News has released its list of med schools with the lowest acceptance rates for the 2016-2017 school year. These 10 schools each accepted 3.5 or less of their applicants. Among the 118 ranked med schools that submitted data, the average acceptance rate was only 5.8%!
*RNP denotes a school that is ranked in the bottom one-fourth of all rank-eligible medical and osteopathic schools. U.S. News calculates a rank for the school but has chosen not to publish it.
